Opening hours 2019
At Scandinavian WIldlife Park we follow the development on COVID-19 closely, and we follow all guidelines from the danish authorities.
The opening for the new season is postponed indefinitely.
At this time of year, Scandinavian Wildlife Park is closed for the winter as usual, but we are still in the process of preparing for the new season. Of course, we take a lot of precautions with COVID-19 to reduce infection and to continue to care for the animals.
We’re usually three working in the office, but two of us have moved home to the home office, and only Director Frank Vigh-Larsen comes by the office daily. Frank also makes sure that all the animals are cared for, while Mogens Andersen our park manager, takes care of the preparations for the new season. The two gentlemen only have remote contact in the open air or over the phone.
The park was scheduled to open for a new season on Thursday, April 9th, 2020, but it’s evident, that we need to postpone the opening. We don’t know how long. As mentioned, we are following the development closely, and all instructions from the Danish authorities are being followed.
We will update here on the page as soon as we know more about how COVID-19 affects the opening of Scandinavian Wildlife Park
Follow the recommendations:
We encourage everyone to follow the official recommendations of the Danish authorities.
